• Are you unsure what contest you would like to do for competition? Do you need more information information about your contest? Go to the BPA site, on the navigation bar roll over "Competitive Events", "College/Post-Secondary". From there choose either "Events at a Glance" or "Event Details" depending on how much information you want.

Torch Awards Program

• Participation in the Torch Awards and Special Recognition Programs can prove beneficial to you. Many activities that qualify for Torch Awards points are service activities. These take you out into the community, giving you a positive way to impact the area we live in, as well as provide some publicity for our chapter and Business Professionals of America. Interaction with business leaders, civic organizations and others are one of many things the program encourages. This not only translates into Torch Awards points, but also key contact with members of the community. Publicity, contact with business leaders, increased self-confidence, awareness of the importance of service, and activities to add to the résumé and scholarship applications are just a few things that participation in the Torch Awards Program can do for both our chapter and you as a member.
